Meaning: "O Allah, to You belongs all praise. You are the light of the heavens and the earth and everyone within them. To You belongs all praise; You are the sustainer of the heavens and the earth and everyone within them. To You belongs all praise; You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and everyone within them. You are the Truth, Your promise is true, Your word is true, the meeting with You is true, Paradise is true, Hellfire is true, and the Day of Judgment is true."
(Narrated by Ibn Majah from Abdullah Ibn Abbas)
Meaning: "O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned in repentance, with Your help I have striven, and to You I have taken judgment. So forgive me for what I have sent forth and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have revealed. You are the One who brings forward and You are the One who delays. You are my God; there is no deity worthy of worship except You."
(Narrated by al-Bukhari [1120, 6317, 7385] and Muslim [769])
